Naturally Learning and Teens

Naturally Learning looks different in each phase of our children’s development.  As children are given opportunities to develop their God-given personalities and talents at a young age, they mature into vibrant, happy people!  I love, love, love mentoring the teens in our Aspen Cooperative!  At this point we are touring colleges and looking to the future.  What does each child hope for? How can we help them prepare for their individual aspirations?  They are so enthusiastic.  They have goals that drive them.  Coming together with their peers creates a learning environment full of fun as well as academic knowledge.  They push each other to accomplish bigger and better things.

Recently one of our students took her art work to the high school art show, at a local museum, where she won “Best in Show.”  We were all so excited for her that we immediately took a field trip to see her display! It was fantastic!

Preparing for tomorrow – for college and internships and life – becomes the focus with our older students.  Our kids even look forward to test preparation when they are the means by which it takes place! We laugh and learn together in a myriad of ways.

I hope we help inspire each of you to new ideas!
